The Bailey Tutoring Group ("BTG", "we") provides one-to-one online tutoring programmes for GCSE and A-Level students. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website and in the course of running our programmes. Questions about this notice, or about how your information is handled, can be sent to .

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to respond to you and to run the programme.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, to run the consultation call, to match the student with a suitable tutor, to deliver the tutoring programme (including assessments, session notes and progress reporting), to take payment and keep accounts, and to meet our legal and safeguarding obligations.

Our lawful bases under UK data protection law are: performance of a contract (running the programme you have enrolled in), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and administering our service), legal obligation (accounting and safeguarding requirements), and consent where we ask for it. A student's information is always collected from and handled with the involvement of their parent or guardian, and we treat children's data with particular care.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

Section 5

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed. If you enquire but do not enrol, we delete your details within a reasonable period after the enquiry closes. If you enrol, programme records are kept for the duration of the programme and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations, which for financial records is up to six years. Records are then deleted or anonymised.
